Yes that actually reminds of another strange point to mention; the usual process of resetting of the router at the wall still doesn't let anyone connect. The only way I can seem to get back on is, like I said, connecting the wire and manually resetting through the config page.

To be more specific, the router model is WGR614v6, and firmware V2.5.22_2.5.22.
