Hi All,

I'm usually quite good at googling things but there could be so many reasons for this, so forgive me if this topic already exists.

We have Virgin cable here in a student house, connected to their standard Netgear router.
Lately the odd time everyone is getting disconnected from the router, with no way to get back on other than for me to go down, connect my laptop to the router and reset it.

This is a bit of an annoyance when it happens, and I'm wondering why it could be. The fact I have to cut everyone off to make it work again made me think is there a possibility one of the laptops in the house is carrying a virus that is dos'ing everyone? Maybe it's not this dramatic..

Any suggestions or similar experiences welcome!
