Gladly. His mother-in-law Annabel Astor (yes, she of
the Astors), gave her bestest buddy Michael Green, the then chairman of Carlton Television, a sly telephone call to get him a job in PR. As a side note of course, he was the one who lost the company the franchise for ITV Digital, losing the company one billion three hundred thousand pounds.
But then his whole "career" has been one long nepotistic run. His entry into the CONservative party itself was arranged for him. Then there's Gideon sorry,
George Osborne (why did he have to change his name?). He didn't really get the job because they were in the Bullington Club together, now did he?

b) I work in a publicy funded organisation, and we have had our budgets frozen (last year, this year, and next year) - why should the BBC (or any other public organisation) be any different (and I am a big fan of the BBC, and happy to pay my licence fee)?

And I admire your commitment and dedication, so surely you can see what fee freezing will do to public services such as this.
