a) Would you care to clarify your accusation re nepotism?
b) I work in a publicy funded organisation, and we have had our budgets frozen (last year, this year, and next year) - why should the BBC (or any other public organisation) be any different (and I am a big fan of the BBC, and happy to pay my licence fee)?
btw, your friend's soundbite is high on buzzwords, low on content - low signal to noise ratio (imho) - is your "friend" a politician or a journalist?
