A common problem with overtaking is that the car in front has a heavier fuel load and often makes it more difficult for a faster car to get past them.

It would now be possible to win the championship with 3/4 wins and not to have to even finish any other race whereas someone who finished 2nd in every race wouldn't count for anything.
