Its undergoing massive regeneration and until the farcicle joke about the new ground is sorted out, I don't think much can be done. Anfield is a very inner city area, all the inner parts surrounding the city tend to be a bit more rundown as most big cities are - but the people are really nice, I've got many friends and relatives that live there (handy for match day!
