I took the "fees may apply" statement to mean something along the lines of "fees may apply depending on your cellular network provider", i.e. You can send MMS, but O2/AT&T/etc. may charge you whatever it is that they happen to charge.[So with O2, if it's like with any other phone or tariff, it would simply be 1 MMS = 4 SMS].
That's just an assumption, of course, but it makes sense to me. I can't see even Apple being so cheeky as to charge additional fees to use something such as MMS...I hope...

Doesn't need loads of features... just £<>$ & exchange rate updates.
