Recently my mother had to go through OFCOM after being given the number by Sky, there was a tag on the line (we knew it was from Talktalk or Tiscali, I forget. I think TalkTalk) as it was the only provider my mother had ever had, they refused to assume responsobility, so as I mentioned sky gave her the number, she phoned and explained and a very useful gentleman on the phone get the phone line cleaned up and we were able to order Sky.
