Of the four types of 3d two require a new tv, and only one doesn't require glasses.
We all know the first type, with the red and blue lenses, that doesn't need a new TV.
The other type of 3D that doesn't require a new TV requires LCD shutter glasses, which are expensive and bulky, and whilst Sky are still working with the manufacturers of them, they don't see it as a viable in home system.
The 3D that is TV only that will require a new TV and no glasses is years away from being ready. |
I can assure you it can be done with only new set top boxes
i have been workign with teh stuff it quite cool but doesnt excite me as much as hd, there is otehr technology that aint listed there and at least one of them doesnt require anew tv it works similar to hwo the dvd that are 3d work
