Re: Watchmen (movie)

Spoilers
Spoiler:

Dr Manhattan can manipulate matter/atoms/electrons. He can teleport people. He Teleports someone, and she vomits as a side effect, and someone says, still not used to being teleported! That is a Scooby Doo moment, I got the fact of what just happened, didn't need it explaining. There are a couple of those.

Old man Smith used X to do Y and then did this to do that to achieve the other, just in case you missed it.

Scooby Doo cartoons do it a lot, Hollywood films tend to do it even more.

Mod Edit placed possible spoiler in spoiler tags

For once a movie adaptation that is about 95% the same as the source material.
So you have read it, and think it is 95% close, so why is every fanboy slating it? They are idiots, I will go with you. I have ordered the book anyhow, but I assumed it is as close as can be expected. Nice to see someone that has experience of both liking it.
