i dont know how it all works but there must be some way VM can see where the connection is coming from and block/disconnect the line! every modem has an individual IP.

Without going into too much detail (as this is against forum rules) as long as the person being cloned is on another UBR virgin cant tell as there is no system that checks for duplicate macs on multiple UBR's. If you want a more technical explanation PM me
