It's a nice thought but I suspect a tad naive. Politicians are so media managed and pre-programmed that eggs, toms, custard and even a boot up the ar$e would are a slight inconvenience and viewed as a media opportunity to feed us again with the bull***** stance that the protester was getting so worked up about in the first place.
