If i recall correctly you have to leave the space you want to merge unallocated then just extend(resize) your NTFS partition to take it up.Defrag and backup first just to be safe.

To be honest though i`ve never done such a thing with a Windows OS.

EDIT:I agree with Rob though.Why even bother.Hide your porn on it;-)
