As far as I know in 2007 Virgin Media did put them up for sale but they removed them from sale the few months later due to bids from other broadcasters not being high for Virgin to say ''Yes'' to them.
Then last weeks some media web sites posted that ''Virgin are
expected to begin the sale of its content division.''
