There is only one comparison for value and that is you.

If you are receiving a service and are happy with the service in terms of performance and price then that is al that matters.

There will always be someone who has a better deal - but that goes for everything, however standard prices do help but with companies offering deals to attract new customers it only goes further to widening the gap between new and existing users.
