By some reason I think there is a general confusion over here. Up to 50 MBps service is up to 400Mbps speed and even if you buy the best wireless router, maximum you can get 50-60% of that speed. Virgin supplies Netgear N router with maximum, again maximum “up-to” 200Mbps – 50% from potential Ethernet connection. So, if you want to use 100% of potential speed, you will have to use, e.g., LAN connection. I am afraid I cannot suggest a 100% solution for wireless connections, the fastest wireless router I saw could support speed only up to 300Mbps.
