I think you will find im pretty au fait with the way DOCSIS works and the infrastructure in general and i can confirm my issues are not down to over-subscription. My UBR is not in any way overloaded.
There is definatly something going on at a level deeper into the network than the UBR. i have not had the time to investigate this further but when i do i will let you know what i find.
VM are in no way transparent, previous experience should tell you this !
