You need to enable port forwarding within the router - by the looks of it you will need to forward port 80 through the router to the IP address of the machine that your software is on (probably best if you assign a static IP address to that machine to save having this problem again down the line).

I can't help with how to configure the router I'm afraid, but I would hope that the instruction manual that came with it would tell you how to get into the admin control panel.

With a bit of luck someone should be along soon enough who has experience with the wireless routers VM issue - it would be useful if you could post the model name/number.
