I like that.

The French nuclear subs have names also traditionally associated with Royal Navy ships: Triomphant (HMS Triumph is a nuclear submarine), TÃ©mÃ©raire (HMS Temeraire is a naval establishment), Vigilant (HMS Vigilant is yet another one of our nuclear subs, damn-their-eyes) and Terrible (HMS Terrible was a WW2 aircraft carrier).

Perhaps if they picked some different names there might be less confusion. Mind you, they might just have been driving it in the traditional fashion of Parisian motorists. You can't hear urgent horn hooting underwater, unfortunately.
