ICS is already shared, the nic's will be configured manually, instead of auto config. yet auto config maybe be the best option as then the 2nd NIC will have a manual address of 192 etc. and the address from the server to the cable modem will be auto set via windows.
why ezactly would i need a switch if the server would be joining directly to the modem ?

cheers youth

the first senaro is basically what i wanna do
This way it allows me to control the internet speed given to the network

yet allowing the server/ ics machine, to utilise the full bandwidth

+ then i wont have to setup no stupid port forwarding etc,

tis alot easier this way
