yes both channels need to be the same
However ive spotted an error on my part,
The Main router, Should have the 2nd routers MAC code entered into it. NOT the other way round
i shudnt post whilst falling asleep lol
easy way to remember, everything on the 2nd router should be the same as the MAIN router / AP
