If you've got an HD tv then unfortunately you're going to run into problems anyway. Virgin have decided to disable the menus on the Scart output when you're in HD mode.

That's right, you won't get the menus to work no matter what video sender/receiver you use. Switching channels on tmy 2.4GHz worked for me too.
