It's easy to say it's legal and ok when your not the one affected by it but a whole different story if your going home each night wondering how long you might have before you lose your house and can't afford to look after your family. They are protesting trying to save jobs and work and some on here are slating them for it so i suppose they should all just shut up march quietly to the dole queue so the righteous minority on here can then have a go against benefit claimants being lazy and drinking stella allday. Damned if they do and damned if they don't welcome to modern britain.

Yes, it's awful for them. Honestly, It's not that I do not have sympathy for them. However, The thing they are protesting about is basically that a private company is using non-British workers. If that is the message we send out then a
lot more people will be unemployed. If it were simply a matter of legality and nothing else then we would all be demanding the law is changed, but if you start dictating the nationality of the workers they can employ then companies will be less inclined to set up here, leading to less jobs.
Do you not think total might be questioning the wisdom of having to do business in Britian at the moment? They may not be able to shut down existing locations but they will dam well think twice about setting up more.
We need businesses here, they provide jobs, and in these isolated examples those jobs did not go to our workers. However a lot still do, and these companies pay tax, and they benefit us.
