of the k850 otherwise it would be a no brainier.

That would be like going back to dial up for your home connection!

(As I'm in the US I need the UMTS 850 and 1900 for the AT&T network and UMTS 1700 if I were to switch to the TMobile network. 3G is such a frequency mess over here it is beyond a joke).
