One of the first seasons anomalies in my opinion was the way that the Ocampan race had managed to maintain such an advanced society, albeit the "caretaker" provided them with limitless amounts of energy it always seemed a bit far fetched that a people who only lived to the age of nine years could sustain such an advanced existence.
Add to this the Kazon, a warp capable civilisation who seemed to prize simple water as the rarest of commodities.
But as mentioned above Voyager did bed down to become a truly excellent series.
