Also have a look at this page, which applies to both home and pro.
What I am TRYING to do is use the Laptop as a "dumping ground" for progs etc which are on the PC...but seldom used..an external HD if you like..but as the Laptop is rarely used I was hoping not to have to buy a HD..

Is what I am after not networking..is there another/better way
