There are plenty of innocent people in Gaza who have no time for Hamas but are still being bombed and killed. What are they supposed to do about it? On the other hand, Hamas are probably delighted at the burgeoning support they will undoubtedly have as a result of all this and if that takes sacrificing some of their own to that end they probably couldn't care less.
