DHCP is probably playing up. Try entering the IP address, subnet and gateway ip's in manually.
Examples for many routers would be :

IP : 192.168.1.105
Subnet : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.1.1

You'll need to find out your real gateway address using ipconfig from command prompt if you have a Windows pc connected to the router at the same time.
