The Homehubs are indeed wireless.
The earlier ones V1.0 and V1.5 actually support linking 2 together wirelessly although its a bit of a PITA to setup.
The 3rdparty DD-WRT/Tomato firmwares that run on certain routers have a option to turn the device into a wired > wireless bridge
I think the AP i linked to on ebuyer also does this.
Basically what happens is you set up the device to be a Client bridge, then it connects to the wi-fi network and you hard-wire you devices to it.
I've done it with a WRT160N running dd-wrt I actually have a pair of them 1 downstairs being my router and 1 upstairs with my PC, Printer, Phone and Xbox wired into it, it then connects wirelessly to the one downstairs
Although that particular router would be more than you'd need for this specific purpose, I choose it for the wireless N
I do actually have the xbox adaptor somewhere but as it's wired to the bridge with everything else I don't use it.
they do sometimes do offers on them, seem to remember getting £15 off mine.
