And I thought all cable STBs have an ethernet socket anyway (even the really really old Pace ones)?
I've wondered about this for a while - does it mean that all cable boxes have two cable modems (one for the return path, used for interactive, etc.)? And for that matter, is the return path standard DOCSIS, and does anyone know what speed that runs at?

Maybe he's on XL, so from his point of view isn't really taking V+.

Another thing actually, is it possible to get a V+ box without taking the V+ service (or being on XL)? Will it show HD content, will it even function at all?
