Router / Wi-Fi Issue
Hi all,
Here's a strange one for you that's been going on for a few weeks...
Here's my setup:
Zyxel P-660H-D1 ADSL router which connects to my ISP. (192.168.10.1). This device acts as a DHCP server for my network.
Connected to the router (via a GB switch) I have a Linksys WAG325N Wireless-N ADSL2+ Gateway - 192.168.10.3. This device has my ADSL settings in it, but it's not used to connect to the ISP. The DHCP setting is set to DHCP Relay and the DHCP Server IP is set to 192.168.10.1.
Every now and again (usualy after a few days) my router decides to stop routing....from a wireless connected device I can ping .3 (the WAG325N) but not the router (.1). From a wired PC in the switch I can't ping the router either.
Router LEDs are all still lit as if it's connected via the ADSL and client LEDs are also lit up.
The Zyxel router has already been replaced becuase I thought this was the faulty device. The WAG325N was previously used as the main router / WiFI AP and worked perfectly for weeks on end without any issues (and also during the time the Zyxel router was away for diags / replacement).
So this leads me to think there is something wrong with the setup.
Any idea's?
