I have had lan parties as well with a router at my home that was a cheap one from ebuyer, well not cheap but not a main brand if you get what I mean, it was great..

Anyway after a few hours surfing the web I decided on the D-Link DIR 655, and it solved all my problems and more, I think the QoS sort of helps with utorrent but not been downloading anything lately!

I would recommend it to anyone, had it a week now can't say I have noticed a speed in my internet because with 20meg you can't always judge if its the internet or the servers your downloading off so can't honestly say its been better.. but it hasn't cut out on me yet so I'm very happy with this new router...
