Re: Football : Season 08/09

I watched this in a pub in Nottingham with my mates. There was a mouthy Gunners supporter behind us, and I said to my mate "if United get a draw out of this, I'm buying him a pint, just to shut him up". As it happened, that never occured, and he was still mouthy. Good game though, smiled when Nasri got his second since that was a wicked deflection and otherwise heading straight for the goalie. Rafael's goal was a peach though. Shame Rooney or Ronaldo, or even Walcott couldn't do anything similar to it. And Utd have a game in hand on the top 4, so things could turn faster yet!

I look forward to the rematch at the Theatre of Dreams in a few months time.

The only thing Arsenal will probably be close to winning this season is the Carling Cup or the FA Cup. The strike force is far too young to be up against anything as good as Utd's defence in the Premiership or Europe *consistently* (i.e over the whole season), and I wouldn't be surprised to find Arsenal 4th this year. Heck, they even lost to Stoke of all teams, and they're mid-table! Think it's Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd challenging for the title, Utd by a couple of points at the last.
