Re: poor resloution on my v-box

The vbox outputs an image with 576 lines of vertical resolution, whereas your tv will only display one with 1080 lines, that means your TV has to upscale the image to 1080 lines in order to display it. How good the image is on your TV depends on how good your TV is at upscaling. Some TVs are really bad at it, and SDTV looks poor on them, others do a pretty good job and it'll look quite good.

To get a better picture I'd upgrade to a V+ box, which will upscale internally and usually does a far better job than most TVs will.
