I too have the XL Phone package, and since I took the VIP service I get a mobile phone discount.
I also have kids who given the chance would, and have, racked up over a £100 in a month calling friends on mobiles, in this case like you Mags I've found the call barring option a brilliant idea for mobiles and premium rate numbers, not that the young'uns like it though.
