Right i narrowed it down to the router, as it has just dropped. I couldnt ping across the network, or router itself. I dont want to have to buy another router, i already have a D-Link DI-624, which keeps dropping connections, and causing programs to crash.
. The only thing that solves it is to press the reset button on router.
