Calls to BT have gone unanswered and when I got through to the Indian call centre they blamed my internal wiring. I tried explaining that the hub was conected direct to master socket with no extensions so any 'internal wiring' fault would be between the street and THEIR master socket! Got the standard reply that they can send an engineer but it may cost if no fault is found.
Thankfully we're now moving, we were going to take BT with us but have now cancelled and arranged a Virgin Media (Sweet 16 package) which will be installed the day after we move.

I had the same problem as you, I suppose the distance to the exchange & more people being added between u & it will be the problem.
BT need to build more exchanges to illiminate this distance from the exchange problem.
