Centurion by Simon Scarow
One of a great series of books. Macro you just have to love that character.
Sort of roman centurion guy that comes out with the saying "look cato, at my new girlfriend, then slaps her on the bum.....her name is Bodacea " you just so want to say "DOH!"
Just finished reading for the umpteenth time "ringworld" and "ringworld engineers" excellent sci-fi deom Lary Niven. If your into top quality sci-fi all his books are a must.
