Have to say that while i'm not entirely convinced on the transparancy in relation to the STM - especially for a 'Virgin' company I think it could be improved to the point where people wouldn't have such an issue with it in a couple of steps:

1. Re-examine the trigger amounts (i just don't think they are suitable in the current environment where you may have multiple users sharing a connection and where a legitimate game / movie download could quite feasibly set off STM)

2. A system whereby a user's overall usage for the month was taken into account.

Clearly it is not fair for someone who downloads an amount large enough to trigger STM once or twice a month for example to be considered a 'heavy' or 'excessive' user.

I don't think anyone really has an issue with a system that focuses on people who are hammering the bandwidth night and day all the time - do they?
