Cable Forum - View Single Post - Reading CD's/DVD's slows down my computer!

Going kinda offtpoic here i have my dvd drive and hdd on same ide cable will i see a performance boost if i got another ide cable and put hdd on one and dvd on the other ie burning or something like that.

Btw dma and PIO enyone explain the differnce always liking to learn new stuff
