I know people that play on wireless and they don't get this problem so there must be a way to fix it. If eventually no advice helps. Has anyone had any experience with a product like this?

You *can* play over wireless but due to the nature of the beast it will always add a bit of lag.
It may be worth trying different channels just in case your default channel is conflicting with a neighbour or other equipment.

The power plugs seem to work well. I know a few of the regulars here have tried them so you'll hopefully get some user reports soon.
