If you do a direct connection, you can only use one thing at a time - PC or Xbox. You also need to either clone the PC's MAC address onto the Xbox, or power cycle the modem each time you swap over.

i tried,but to no avail,now the console asks me for the MTU.... the request fails when i check xbox live. As soon as i enter the MAC no., the IP address check fails....

could anyone give me a step by step guide?I have an STB...
