Hi and thanks for your quick response.

The router is new, bought from Amazon only a few days ago. When i power on the router once its settled it shows the power light, the wireless light and the 1 port light (where i have put the ethernet cable to the computer) all are on so it is getting power.

Any other details needed just ask.
