An "E08C007" is a ntl: 250 modem (i think), and that handles 10meg fine.

The problem your describing sounds very similar to what happening to me, in that a little popup saying "Connected to xxxx, signal strength xxxxx", thn after a few moments i would lose all connectivity, but the wireless would still be connected, then i have to restart my wireless adapter to fix the issue.

I can't really help you on that matter because im still trying to fix the issue my self.
