Re: Should I change my router?

Dropping off as in losing internet connection.
1. Throughout the evening a little box keeps popping up to tell me I am now connected.
So I assume that I have momentarily gone offline and not realized.
2. I often have to go into my wireless settings to reconnect as the connection has gone.
3. My hubbies iMac is connected via an ethernet cable (to the router) so he can play poker with a stable connection, but he still loses it anyway. He restarts his machine a few times every evening.
We have a Virgin modem that we got last year E08C007
I haven't connected directly to the modem as we are both online at the same time in the evenings.
I could go hours without a problem, but sometimes it seems to go on/off all night, or day if I'm at home. It's an intermittent thing.
