Re: Remote Desktop Connection problems with Nvidia AGP

After exploring for two days why I could not longer access my main machine remotely, this is what I've discovered:

A simple driver rollback did the trick.

Here are the details of my scenario:

Replaced old Nvidia graphics card with the following:
GeForce 7300 GT 8X AGP, manufacturer of this card is BFGTech.

I WAS able to access other computers remotely from my host machine with the new card, prior to the rollback, but could NOT access the host remotely from other machines.

I went to the download drivers section of nvidia.com, and went to the lower part of the page, clicked on "Beta and Archived Drivers", under OTHER DRIVERS

Driver version that came with card- 175.16
I DID upgrade to the NEWEST driver, 175.19, to no avail
I then rollbacked to 169.21 which was most recent update prior to 175.16.

And VOILA I can now connect remotely. I find it ODD that neither the card manufacturer support people, nor Microsoft seem to know anything about this issue.
