Thanks mate I've been looking for the receipt, since I paid for it in cash & so they are trying to find out when exactly I bought the router [my memory is crap] But they did say they'd exchange, so I'll get a different router & will print your reply so they know in future. Plus it will explain why I've not bothered to even open the box lol [not]
