Issues between team speak and VM connections is quite well known, its down to poor peer routing (and link ups), level3 is always over utilized as well, i think you are going to have to just put up with it (or try to get VM to sort something out, which i doubt will happen.)

VM have poor routing to practically everywhere these days (even giganews!)
