Talking im reading cable-modem-signal-levels.

hi im reading this post.

http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12...al-levels.html

i would like to no if my setting are right or wrong.
im asking this as i am an online gamer and am always getting told i lag about the screen. i play cod4 alote and am getting sick of the comments from others.

in game my ping is as low as 30 but still lag around.

im on vm 20meg using a sb4200 moderm.
my pc is a good spec.

here are my moderm settings.

Downstream Value
Frequency 331000000 Hz Locked
Signal to Noise Ratio 37 dB
Power Level 2 dBmV The Downstream Power Level reading is a snapshot taken at the time this page was requested. Please Reload/Refresh this Page for a new reading

Upstream Value
Channel ID 1
Frequency 18800000 Hz Ranged

Power Level 35 dBmV

Frequency Plan: European PAL I/B/G
Upstream Channel ID: 1

can any of these settings be the reason for the lag.
or am i just getting packet loss.

i can provide a trace root to are game server if needed.
