I don't want my dots joined thanks. If my ISP does that, particularly in secret as BT/Phorm did in 2006 and 2007, they will be -1 customer (ask Virgin if you don't believe me).

All data, on the wires, looks like this: 100101110011010100101010.

Web traffic, email, SMS, VOIP, IPTV, whatever you care to mention.

The moment you concede interception of that data for marketing, there is no coherent argument to say "...but not this type of data, or that type of data".

That is why I make no concession, and keep saying; Phorm must be stopped.
